On May 11, 2010, the reporting person sold, in multiple transactions, a total of 15,688 shares of common stock of Atlas Energy, Inc. (the "Company")at prices ranging from $32.61 to $32.80.
The reporting person is a participant in the Company's Assumed Long-Term Incentive Plan. The reporting person received 15,000 options under the Atlas Energy Resources, LLC ("ATN") Long-Term Incentive Plan on January 24, 2007, which were exchanged for 17,400 options of the Company in connection with the merger of ATN into a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Company. 4,350 options vested on January 24, 2010 and the remaining 13,050 options will vest on January 24, 2011.
