Soros Fund Management LLC (SFM) is a prominent multi-strategy global investment firm and family office, managing approximately $28 billion in net assets. Founded by George Soros, SFM serves as the principal asset manager for the Open Society Foundations (OSF), one of the world's largest charitable foundations dedicated to promoting justice, human rights, democracy, education, public health, and independent media.

George Soros, a Hungarian-American billionaire businessman, investor, and philanthropist, studied at the London School of Economics, earning a BSc in philosophy in 1951 and a Master of Science degree in 1954. Drawing on his studies in philosophy, Soros developed the General Theory of Reflexivity for capital markets, providing insights into asset bubbles, market value discrepancies, and strategies for shorting and swapping stocks.
