Founded in January 2001 by David Halpert and Peter McKown, Prince Street Capital Management is a New York-based hedge fund manager specializing in global emerging and frontier market investments. Mr. David C. Halpert was a Managing Partner at Prince Street Capital Management LLC and served as Chief Executive Officer at Prince Street Capital Management Pte Ltd. He was also the Founder, Portfolio Manager, and Chief Investment Officer of the firm, a specialist in emerging and frontier market asset management based in New York and Singapore. With over 30 years of experience in researching and investing in the developing world, Mr. Halpert brought a wealth of knowledge to the firm. Before founding Prince Street, Mr. Halpert managed a long-only emerging markets portfolio at Zesiger Capital Group and worked as an Equity Research Analyst in Indonesia. He has also shared his expertise by lecturing at universities such as NYU, Cornell Tech, Arizona State, Nanyang Technical University, and the Singapore University of Social Sciences. Mr. Halpert earned a BA in Asian Studies (magna cum laude) from the University of California, Berkeley, and an MBA from Harvard Business School.

Peter McKown currently serves as the Chief Financial Officer at Prince Street Capital Management. He holds a Master of Business Administration in Marketing and Finance from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University, which he earned from 1982 to 1985.
