In 1993, he founded the hedge fund group Santander New World Investments Group, which later evolved into NWI Management LP upon its spin-off in 1999. Mr. Hariharan's educational background includes Harvard Business School's Program for Management Development, an MBA in Finance from the Indian Institute of Management in Ahmedabad, and a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting from the University of Madras. He actively participates as a member of the Federal Reserve Bank of New York Foreign Exchange Committee and holds membership in the Council on Foreign Relations.
