Before establishing Impactive, Christian spent 8 years at Blue Harbour Group, a $3 billion activist investment firm, where he served as Managing Director and Investing Partner. He led numerous investments, advising CEOs and boards of public companies on capital allocation, ESG considerations, and strategic initiatives. Prior to his tenure at Blue Harbour, Christian was a founding team member of Morgan Stanley Infrastructure Partners (MSIP), a $4 billion infrastructure fund, focusing on energy, transportation, and social infrastructure investments. He also served on the boards of multi-billion dollar private infrastructure assets. Earlier in his career, Christian worked in Morgan Stanley's Investment Banking division, where he structured and executed project-level financings in emerging markets and Latin America. Christian currently serves on the board of Impactive portfolio company Avid Technology (Nasdaq: AVID) and is a member of the New America Alliance. He graduated magna cum laude from Princeton University with a B.S.E. in Operations Research & Financial Engineering and holds minors in Finance, Engineering & Management Systems, and Robotics & Intelligent Systems.
