John M. Bader is the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Halcyon Capital Management, LLC, a global asset management firm. Joining the firm in the latter half of 1990 when it managed approximately $100 million in assets, Mr. Bader has focused on delivering attractive risk-adjusted returns while meeting the diverse needs of clients. He has cultivated internal talent and developed a wide range of investment strategies to fulfill this mission. Under his leadership, Halcyon’s assets under management have grown to approximately $10 billion. Widely recognized as an industry thought leader, Mr. Bader has been a frequent speaker at investment forums hosted by NMS Management, Institutional Investor, The Borsa Italiana, the World Presidents’ Organization, and Skybridge Capital (SALT). He has contributed to the Barron’s Roundtable and has been featured in prominent publications such as the Financial Times, Pensions & Investments, and Bloomberg. Mr. Bader has appeared on CNBC and Bloomberg TV to share insights on investment trends and strategies. Mr. Bader is actively involved in academia and governance. He serves on the Board of Advisors for the Harvard Law School Forum on Corporate Governance and Financial Regulation, and has been a member of the Research Council of The Greenwich Roundtable. He has also lectured at Columbia Business School. A recipient of numerous academic awards, Mr. Bader earned his A.B. from Harvard University in the Class of 1984.
