She is the founding Board Chair of 8B, which supports African students attending top international universities. Debra also holds board positions at Edge Certification, a Swiss-based firm specializing in gender equity certification for multinational corporations, Simprints, a UK-based enterprise providing biometric identification for aid delivery, and Itrek, an organization fostering graduate student engagement with Israel. Additionally, Debra serves on the Board of GrafTech International, a publicly traded company in the steel industry.
