Corsair Capital Management is a value-driven investment manager established in 2002. It sees opportunity in distressed companies and those otherwise in the process of restructuring. Corsair Capital Management vets each company carefully, looking for any discrepancy between a company's price and its intrinsic value. "The global economy's strength leads us to believe companies will exit the sidelines with renewed confidence and deploy cash for strategic acquisitions," says Corsair Capital Management. "Market multiples remain below historic averages and the capital markets are open; companies can now afford to strategically position themselves to benefit from higher growth in emerging markets, gain access to resources, improve cost structures, and so forth."
