Previously, he served as Chairman of Rural/Metro and Medalogix, and on the boards of LHC Group, Advanced Emissions, BioScrip, and Interstate Hotels & Resorts. Mr. Shackelton holds an undergraduate degree from Yale University and actively participates in various non-profit and charitable organizations, notably serving as Chairman of the Connecticut Open.
Mr. Adam Gray serves as Managing Partner at Coliseum Capital Management, bringing over 35 years of experience in private equity and operations. He possesses extensive expertise in leading operational and financial restructurings, and navigating complex and distressed situations with adeptness. Currently, Mr. Gray holds director positions at NFI Group and Purple Innovation, where he serves as Chair. He previously served on the boards of several public companies, including DEI Holdings, Benihana, The Pas Group (as Chair), Redflex Holdings (as Chair), and Blue Bird Corporation. Before co-founding Coliseum in 2005, Mr. Gray held the position of Executive Vice President, Strategic Projects and Capital Management, at Burger King Corporation from 2003 to 2004, representing private equity sponsors such as Texas Pacific Group, Bain Capital, and Goldman Sachs. Before this, he held various roles at Metromedia Company-affiliated firms from 1989 to 2003. Additionally, Mr. Gray worked at Kluge & Co from 1990 to 1992, and at Kluge, Subotnick, Perkowski & Co from 1989 to 1990. He began his career in the Merchant Banking Group at Morgan Stanley. Mr. Gray is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania’s Management & Technology Program, holding both a B.S.E. in Finance from the Wharton School and a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the School of Engineering and Applied Science.
