As the Managing Partner and Portfolio Manager at Caspian, Mr. Adam Cohen brings over 25 years of extensive experience in corporate credit investment, spanning from performing to distressed opportunities across various credit cycles. Since joining Caspian in 2001, he has been instrumental in establishing and leading the firm's fundamental research team, refining its investment philosophy, and propelling Caspian into a prominent position as a fundamental credit manager. Prior to his tenure at Caspian, Mr. Cohen served as a Vice President in a proprietary distressed investing group at Goldman Sachs & Co., where he played a key role in deploying the firm's capital across numerous positions in the stressed and distressed market. He also provided instruction in distressed investing to other divisions within the firm. Before joining Goldman Sachs, Mr. Cohen practiced law in the business, finance, and restructuring group at Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP. He graduated cum laude from New York University School of Law and summa cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania.
Mr. David Corleto serves as a Partner and Co-Portfolio Manager at Caspian, leveraging over 20 years of expertise in sourcing investments across primary and secondary markets, trading various credit instruments, and navigating portfolios through multiple significant credit cycles. Before joining Caspian in 2005, Mr. Corleto spent six years at Goldman Sachs & Co., where he held diverse roles including high-yield research analyst, distressed research analyst, distressed bond trader, and distressed loan trader. Prior to his tenure at Goldman Sachs, he worked as a high-yield research analyst at BT Alex. Brown and CSFB. Mr. Corleto earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Pennsylvania.
