Brad Gerstner is the founder, chairman, and CEO of Altimeter Capital. He pursued his undergraduate education at Wabash College from 1989 to 1993, achieving summa cum laude status with a bachelor's degree in Economics and Political Science. From 1991 to 1992, he also engaged in studies abroad at the University of Oxford. Subsequently, from 1993 to 1996, Gerstner attended Indiana University Maurer School of Law, earning a Juris Doctor degree. To support his law school fees, he engaged in day trading. Following graduation, he practiced securities law as an attorney at Ice Miller LLP and held the position of Deputy Secretary of State of Indiana for a term. In 1999, Gerstner returned to academia, enrolling at Harvard Business School, where he completed his studies in 2000, obtaining a Master of Business Administration degree.
