Revenue also fell 21.7% to $397.66 million, but managed to beat expectations by $4.25 million. Moreover, due to a sharp decline in profitability, Kosmos’ forecasted 2025 capex budget of $400 million is a reduction of over 50% from recent years, as the company plans to prioritize the generation of free cash flow from its increased production base together with disciplined capital investment.
