Brown-Forman Corporation (NYSE:BF-B)
Brown-Forman Corporation (NYSE:BF-B) grew its share prices by 10.09 percent on Wednesday to end at $35.99 apiece as investors scrambled to snap up shares in the company ahead of its dividend payout to shareholders of record date March 7, 2025.
In its latest earnings release, Brown-Forman Corporation (NYSE:BF-B) declared a cash dividend of $0.2265 per share on its Class A and B common shares, payable on April 1, 2025.
Brown-Forman Corporation (NYSE:BF-B), a member of the S&P 500 Dividend Aristocrats Index, boasts itself as a regular payer of quarterly cash dividends for 81 consecutive years. It said that it has increased the regular dividend for its shareholders for 41 consecutive years.
Despite dismal earnings performance last year, with net income falling by 6 percent and net sales by dropping 3 percent year-on-year, the company remains optimistic to post growth for the fiscal year 2025.
According to Brown-Forman Corporation (NYSE:BF-B), organic net sales are expected to settle between 2 to 4 percent.
Overall BF-B ranks 7th on our list of Wednesday’s top gainers.
