Kenya is the fourth largest exporter of flowers in the world. Flowers are the second most exported product in the country, generating significant revenue for the African country. Kenya is a major producer of roses, so much so that 40% of all roses sold in the European Union are supplied by Kenya. Saudi Arabia and Russia are other major destinations of Kenyan floral exports.

Ecuador is a top producer of roses and summer flowers. There are more than 400 varieties of roses that are grown in the country. Overall, the South American nation is the third largest exporter of flowers in the world with a trade volume nearing a billion-dollars. The United States is the largest recipient of Ecuadorian floral exports, with the trade volume recorded at $400 million in 2021. Colombia exported flowers worth $1.73 billion in 2021, making it the second biggest exporter of flowers in the world. The United States is the fastest growing market for Colombian floral exports, with the trade volume growing by $219 million between 2020 and 2021, to total at $1.35 billion in 2021. Each year an annual festival of flowers is held in Aalsmeer showcasing its floral splendor, where locals and tourists visit the open gardens and flower art museums, and take a boat ride of the town. Roses, lilies, daffodils, orchids, and hyacinths are some of the popular flowers grown in the Netherlands, among several others.
