Masonite International Corporation (NYSE:DOOR) is one of the largest public corporations in the windows and doors manufacturing business. The company roughly has 10,000 employees as of 2023 and had a 2022 revenue of $2.6 billion.

The company resulted from the merger between Ply Gem Parent, LLC and NCI Building Systems, Inc in November, 2018. The merged companies officially rebranded to Cornerstone Building Brands in 2019.

It was later acquired by the private equity firm Clayton, Dubilier & Rice in mid-2022 for $5.8 billion. Clayton, Dubilier & Rice already had a stake of 49% in the company, due to the firm’s ownership of Ply Gem.
