19. The University of Florida, College of Medicine
In the University of Florida College of Medicine, you can attend a five-year general surgery residency program training that is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education. After two years of general surgery training, you can choose to gain experience and training in basic sciences and do some research. All residents are required to be involved in the research project and present and publish at least one paper.
