As the report indicates, child sex trafficking and child sex tourism occur within Cuba, that’s up next on the list of top 15 cities with highest human trafficking in the world, and people from ages 13 to 20 being most vulnerable to becoming victims of human trafficking. Even the authorities themselves recognized the presence of foreign national trafficking victims. In March 2017, thirty Cubans were caught in human trafficking operation in Florida. The UN representative did an investigation of human trafficking in Havana in April the same year.
