2. Ronda Rousey
Martial artist, judoka and actress, Ronda Rousey has been in the news a lot this year. On top of landing a spectacular knockout during one of her matches, she also played several important roles that brought her to the big screen. This year, for instance, she played Kara in Furious 7, one of the hottest movies of 2015. She’s also had a role in The Expendables 3, which was released in the summer of 2014.
Rousey was also named the Best Female Athlete at the ESPY Awards back in July, surprising many. The MMA fighter has kept up her work, however, rolling with the punches and trying to show everyone who she is and why she deserves to be on top.
