BMW ranks on the first position in the list of top 10 luxury car brands in the world. Bayerische Motoren Werke AG or BMW is a German luxury car company which was founded in 1916. BMW is one of the top selling luxury car brands in the US, with a total of 313,174 unit sales recorded in 2016. The company’s global sales in 2016 came in at 2.36 million, an increase of 5.3% compared with the previous year. BMW has a separate product line of luxury cars, called “Luxury Line” and it also makes small premium cars under the MINI brand and Rolls-Royce.
