2. Polish National Film, Television and Theatre School in Łódź
This is a post-WW2 institute, planned to be placed in Warsaw after city’s reconstruction, but it remained in Łódź. Since then it has remained a renowned film school, and not only famous for their cinematography achievements (winning 3 Oscars, 10 Palme d’Or, 7 Golden Bears and many more), but also as a place that encouraged freedom of art and speech (especially in communist times).
