Value: $135 billion
The country China exports most to, the United States of America, only makes the fourth place on the list of nations that China mostly imports from. With $135.1 billion in value, it’s still a massive jump from the previous spot. It also represents 8.5% of China’s total imports, although it should be mentioned that the number is 8% lower than in 2015.
The US exports all kinds of stuff to China, leading with oil seeds and nuts, and aircraft, spacecraft, and parts, having similar values. Furthermore, the US also sells electrical machinery and equipment, sound records and reproducers and TVs, mechanical appliances, cars, optical, photographic, cinematographic, medical or surgical instruments and plastics.
The list continues with pulp of wood, mineral fuels and oils, organic chemicals, wood, pharmaceutical products, copper, aluminum, ores, slag and ash, iron, paper, cereals, fish, and so on.
