1) New York

This city is so magnificent it is often considered a character of its own in TV shows and films. It is the most populated city in the US and has very old historical ties with the foundation of the country and the immigration of many families. Speaking of which, you won’t want to miss out on seeing the Statue of Liberty.
2) London
This capital city of England and the United Kingdom is the largest city in Europe. It traces its history back to the Romans and has great historic signifigance. It is one of the most visited cities in the world, and tourists flock there to see the art, architecture, street life, and market shopping. Their four World Heritage Sites are made up of the Tower of London, Kew Gardens, Greenwich, and the site made up of Palace of Westminster, Westminster Abbey, and St. Margaret’s Church.
3) Las Vegas
More of an amusement park than a city, Las Vegas is known as the City of Decadence. Their tourism motto is “What Happens in Vegas, Stays in Vegas” and this sets people up for a vacation of a lifetime. Each hotel around the strip has shows, food, shopping, and gambling, and they all compete with each other to attract the money of willing tourists. You can wander around and just take in all the sites without having to spend a ton of money.

This amazing city is huge, and is considered a megacity. It is one of the worlds greatest passenger and cargo hubs, and while it was established as an oil city it has now turned into a major tourism city. It is known for the skyscrapers, man-made islands, and largest shopping malls in the world.

This Brazilian city is known for their magnificent beaches (as well as their magnificent beach-goers). In addition to the beaches, you can also take in famous landmarks such as the giant statue of Christ the Redeemer (one of the Seven Wonders of the World) and Sugarloaf mountain.
6) Bangkok
The capital and most populated city in Thailand, it is located on the Chao Phraya River and is considered THE city to visit in Asia. It has history dating back to trading in the 15th century, and now operates as a global business hub. With a varied degree of things to do and see, from Buddhist temples to their notorious red-light districts, it is considered a City of Contrast and is one of the world’s top tourist destinations.
7) Sydney
Sydney was established in 1788, built on hills around Port Jackson (or Sydney Harbor) in Australia. As one of the most multicultural cities in the world, Sydney promises residents and tourists beautiful weather, vibrant cuisine, and a flourishing art scene. The iconic Sydney Opera House as well as famous national parks and beaches bring tourists by the boatload.
