We set out to determine the top 10 best selling luxury car brands in the US. We compiled data from the Automotive News Data Center to determine the brands which sold the most cars in 2015.
10. Volvo
Number of cars sold in 2015: 60,705
The company hails from Sweden, having been found 88 years ago in 1927. At one point in time, Volvo’s biggest market was the United States, but sales have been suffering in the country, prompting the car manufacturer to launch a new sedan which it hopes will reignite sales in the US.
9. Land Rover
Number of cars sold in 2015: 62,141
A brand catering mostly to four wheel drives, Land Rover has also strongly gotten a foothold in the US auto market. The company came into being in 1947 and has recently improved sales in the United States, with September seeing a 68% increase in sales when compared with the previous month.
8. Lincoln

Founded nearly a century ago in 1917, a local brand finally makes the list of the top 10 selling luxury car brands in the US. While the brand has still not come close to achieving the success it did back in 1989 and 1990, when over 200,000 vehicles were sold, it is still a powerhouse in the US.

One of the most famous and sought after brands in the entire world, it started manufacturing in the United States in 1994. A symbol of elegance, it has seen a high demand in the US, which is its largest market.
