Brigham and Women’s Hospital or BWH or The Brigham for short is an affiliate of Harvard Medical School. Also, it is the largest hospital in Longwood Medical and Academic Area in Boston. Needless to say, the facilities they have, both for the treatment of patients and for training the students are top notch. BWH also conducts the second largest hospital-based research program in the entire world with a budget well over $630 million. I am sure; you can see why this institution has been placed so high on our list.
