1. There is no proper conversation
One of the best examples to spot scammers on OkCupid and Tinder is to look at your conversations. There is a flow to normal conversations, even awkward conversation, which bots are often unable to replicate. While some of the more sophisticated bots out there may hold their own, many often will not. While you are engaged in a conversation, you may not realize how weird the conversation is and how the other person is not responding to what you say but simply figuring out a way to scam you. This is why, once a few messages have been exchanged, you should step back and re-read the conversation. This simple exercise will enable you to take an objective look at the conversation and determine any inconsistencies. Often enough, I’ve had conversations which seemed fine when they took place, but when I read them again, I realized there was some hostility or awkwardness from the other party of which I was not aware. The same situation can be applied to bots as well.
Well, here’s to hoping that these tips help your love life move along smoothly and your time is spent on actual women instead of wasting time on bots, which could actually see you losing money. And that’s even without going on a date!
