7. African-American and Latino Children Are Endangered
According to the FBI, African American & Latino youth are most often the targets when it comes to the child sex trafficking. They are overrepresented in child trafficking cases, and almost 52% of all juvenile prostitution arrests are African-American children. Additionally, more than 91% of girls who participated in Los Angeles’ STAR Court for child sex trafficking were African-American or Latino.
