More than a decade after the tragic events of 9/11, numerous conspiracy theories regarding what really happened that day continue to circulate. The most popular conspiracy revolving around the 9/11 events state the US government either conducted the attacks, or at least knew that they were about to happen and choose not to intervene, as a means to convince the public that war was a necessity.
