6. Benin
Benin is the more culturally rich among the different regions in Africa. It is considered the birthplace of voodoo and you’ll find here temples and ancient buildings not present anywhere else.
5. Rift Valley
The Rift Valley is the land that sits upon once powerful and active volcanoes. The landscape itself has been shaped by multiple eruptions and you’ll see traces of that violent history in the land itself. The people here are typically peaceful and you may get the opportunity to witness a few of their unique tribal rituals and dances.
4. Mount Kilimanjaro
Mount Kilimanjaro is the tallest mountain in Africa and is also one of the most difficult to trek. During your ascension you’ll experience dramatic differences in weather, from humid desert-like regions to the ice caps at the top. The view is said to be extremely rewarding.
3. Nyungwe Forest
The Nyungwe rainforest is one of the most popular attractions in Africa due to the diversity of the wildlife that you can find here. They have a lot of different creatures among its dense trees that are unique and a few that you won’t find anywhere else.

The Devil’s Pool is a unique experience. During certain times in the dry season the water in the Zambezi River runs so low that it creates this small pool that you can take a dive in just at the edge of the largest waterfall in Africa.
