10. Nail Brewing’s Antarctic Nail Ale

There were only 30 bottles made of this fabled Antarctic beer. The bottles were sold at an auction for $800. Each of these bottles of beer was made out of melted Antarctic ice. So with the limited quantity they were able to produce these 30 bottles. The proceeds of the auction went to the Sea Shepherds, an organization dedicated to protecting the world’s marine life.

9. Pabst Blue Ribbon 1844

The Pabst Blue Ribbon is actually one of the cheaper beers than you can buy in the US. This 1844 version, however, is no joke and you can only find and buy it in China. It’s made from German caramel malts aged in uncharred whiskey barrels from America. The design and ingredients were made so that this beer can compete with higher end liquors.

8. Brewdog’s The End of History

This is the third strongest beer in history. Only 12 bottles of it were ever made. This Scotland produced beer has one interesting take on design: Every bottle is fashioned with a squirrel worked on by a taxidermist. You don’t have to worry though as these squirrels were victims of roadkill. The beer itself is mixed with interesting ingredients like Juniper berries.

The vintage trilogy from Carlsberg is a series of beers that were annually released from 2008 to 2010.
