In a way, this might be the most basic item on our list, yet it remains by far the best-selling product of all time. With more than 350 million units sold, the Rubik’s Cube is so popular, that no other toy can compete with it. In fact, it is first on our list due to the fact that, unlike the iPhone which has reinvented itself six times, the cube continues to be sold in the original form it was created in 1974, by Hungarian architecture professor Erno Rubik.
