A job may be a job, and it’s certainly better than no job at all (we think), although after researching the strangest jobs in America, our opinion on that may be changing slightly. Whatever the job requirements are, as long as we earn more money we’re generally happy, and that’s evidenced by the people who perform some of the strange jobs on this list, which are equal parts weird, gross, funny, and bizarre.
In fact, to most of us who completely hate our jobs and believe it couldn’t get any worse, some of the strangest jobs in America may even seem preferable in their uniqueness compared to the current drudgery of our desk jobs, customer service positions, or other mundane posts we occupy on a daily basis. That is, until that uniqueness wore off after a few days and the reality of doing those bizarre jobs every day made one cry out for the comfort of their office chair with ther impression of their body melted into it.
That’s not to say all of them are bad; at least a handful of them could be downright fun, even as a career. But as you’ll see, the majority of the strangest jobs in America are not for the faint of heart or stomach.
