6. Freaks and Geeks
Freaks and Geeks is a teen comedy-drama TV series, created by Paul Feig, which aired on NBC from 1999–2000. After the airing of the twelfth episode out of the eighteen completed, the series was cancelled. The series has a cult following to this day however, and is notable for launching the careers of Seth Rogen and James Franco, who have gone on to form one of the most noteworthy comedy duos in Hollywood. That pair are responsible for the recent controversial film, The Interview, as well as Pineapple Express, and This is the End.
