(2008-2013) Winner of three Emmy awards, the TV series Breaking Bad claims the top spot on our list, unsurprisingly. The series is an American crime drama series created and produced by Vince Gilligan. The story and performances earned the series a massive following and critical acclaim, right up until its finale in 2013. The popularity of the series resulted in a spin-off series called Better Call Saul, which premieres on AMC in early February.
