No. 10 Robert Barone
TV Series: Everybody Loves Raymond
Portrayed by: Brad Garrett
Almost everyone who’s ever watched this series slightly hates Robert Barone. This character, a lieutenant on his 40s, is so annoying next to the lovable Raymond that it sometimes makes you want to turn the TV off!
No. 9 Robert California
TV Series: The Office
Portrayed by: James Spader
This disgusting character appears in season 8 of The Office. Mr. California is who assumes the Regional Manager position after Michael Scott, portrayed by Steve Carrell, goes. The character didn’t last long thankfully: the next season after his introduction would be the last of the series, probably because he was so awful.
No. 8 Kimmy Gibbler
TV Series: Full House
Portrayed by: Andrea Barber
Kimmy Gibbler, D.J. Tanner’s best friend, is probably one of the most annoying characters of all time. Her catchphrase was “Hola, Tanneritos!”, and she had an incessantly annoying, chirpy personality. If you managed to skip those episodes in which she shouts her catchphrase, there is a chance that you might have actually enjoyed Full House, despite its somewhat poor reputation now.
No. 7 Janice Litman
TV Series: Friends
Portrayed by: Maggie Wheeler
Chandler’s screeching ex-girlfriend, Janice, was known for shouting when entering every room: “Oh…my…God!” over, and over and over again. Friends fans tend to agree on this one: she is probably the most unbearable character in the entire series.
No. 6 Nikki and Paulo
TV Series: Lost
Portrayed by: Kiele Sanchez and Rodrigo Santoro
These two characters were introduced in Season 3, and they stuck out from the rest of the survivors. Every Lost fan remembers Nikki and Paulo, as their introduction and irrelevance was notable. Thankfully, the producers realized how hateful they were, and killed them later that same season.
No. 5 Pete Campbell
TV Series: Mad Men
Portrayed by: Vincent Paul Kartheiser
Almost every Mad Men fan agrees on this one: Pete Campbell is one of Sterling Cooper & Partners’ most detestable and fawning characters. Pete Campbell’s petulance ends up being almost unbearable; you might even just want to kill this guy.
No. 4 Dr. Romano
TV Series: E.R.
Portrayed by: Paul McCrane
Dr. Romano made history. He was so mean, rude and hateful, that when he died crushed by a helicopter, almost no one at County General attended his funeral. Some still like him: he eventually showed some emotion…
No. 3 Joffrey Baratheon
TV Series: Game of Thrones
Portrayed by: Jack Gleeson
This character is so hated among Game of Thrones fans that it’s irrelevant to explain why. He is the son of the nearly-equally reviled Queen Cersei, and enjoys killing and torturing innocent people from peasants to his own betrothed Sansa Stark; all to protect his pride, and get his medieval jollies.
No. 2 Skyler White
TV Series: Breaking Bad
Portrayed by: Anna Gunn
The wife of the main character, Skyler White, is so hated that the actress had to write a piece defending her role in The New York Times.
No. 1 Dana Brody
TV Series: Homeland
Portrayed by: Morgan Frances Saylor
Dana wasn’t always so annoying: she became unbearable when she started dating an equally annoying boyfriend. When, in Season 3, she starting having an incoherent apathy, along with her lovers-on-the-run rebellion, she simply became insufferable.
