Among the ultimate conspiracy theories, there is the one which involves the terrorist attack which took place in New York, during September of 2001, when two commercial passenger planes crashed into the Twin Towers of the World Trade Center. The incidents caused nearly 3,000 deaths. Conspiracy theorists think the attacks were orchestrated by the U.S. government, although Al-Qaeda terrorists claimed responsibility for the attacks. The most extreme theory states that select members of the government organized the attacks conducting the planes using remote-controls and demolition materials to make the towers fall. There’s even a theory that there were actually no planes at all (they were added into live news feeds and videos by an army of graphics designers), and the towers were actually brought down by explosives or missiles.
