7. Lancaster County, PA
Lancaster may just as well be called ‘Fall County’ for all good reasons. Aside from the obvious fall foliage scenery that abounds in Lancaster, the heart of the Pennsylvania Dutch country has so much to offer their autumn-loving visitors. Everything fall was made for – harvest festivals, Fall fairs, and farm adventures – can be done right here in Lancaster County. It is also a great place to enjoy some local ales, ciders, and beers, and partake in their own version of Oktoberfest. There’s also a nice little reenactment of the ‘Sleepy Hollow’ tale at the Rock Ford Plantation for Halloween.
