Although most sea-related jobs have a level of danger attached to them, crab fishing tends to be the most hazardous of all. Apart from being a physically demanding job, crab fishers also have to face the sometimes not so friendly weather: storms, currents, big waves, etc. Most people working in the field have to engage in thorough training before being sea-worthy, but sometimes the unexpected leads to fatal accidents.
