Clean Energy Fuels Corp (NASDAQ:CLNE) announced a trio of deals aimed at expanding the reach and use of natural gas fuel. The company specializes in building out natural-gas fueling infrastructure. The company said that it has signed a fueling agreement with Fox Transportation, which plans to deploy more than 100 compressed natural gas medium-duty trucks in the next few months, Clean Energy said. Fox’s trucks will fuel up at Clean Energy Fuels Corp (NASDAQ:CLNE) stations throughout Southern California.

The multinational Chevron Corporation (NYSE:CVX) has been fined $2 million after accepting a plea bargain following an August 2012 fire at a Richmond, Calif. refinery that sent 15,000 people to the hospital with complaints of breathing problems. Chevron attorneys pleaded no contest to six charges, accepting the terms, which includes 3 1/2 years of probation, $1.28 million in fines and more than $720,000 in restitution payments to three different agencies, according to reports by The Reporter newspaper.
