Investor Says AMZN, TSLA Have “Incredibly Bright” Futures

The futures of Amazon (AMZN) and Tesla (TSLA) are “incredibly bright,” Dan Crowley, the Portfolio Manager of Nightview Capital told Schwab Network recently.

Crowley also believes that “opportunities are developing” for investors to buy top-notch companies. He suggested that the Trump administration will have to meaningfully reduce tariffs once consumers begin paying higher prices as a result of the duties.

“Tariffs will be politically unpalatable once they start affecting the real economy,” he said.

Crowley’s Bullish Outlook on AMZN

“Amazon will do extremely well over any reasonable amount of time,” Crowley said. In retail, the moats that the firm built over many years cannot easily be replicated, even with large amounts of money, he believes.

Meanwhile, the company’s cloud unit, AWS, will benefit significantly from the proliferation of “real-world AI,” and the company’s ad business will continue to generate significant profits for it, according to Crowley.

Tesla has a “tremendous opportunity” in autonomous driving,” while it has “extremely unique advantages in robotics,” Crowley contended.

Crowley noted that he has held TSLA stock for a long time.
