Investment Bank Raised Price Target on GE Vernova (GEV)

Investment bank Jefferies increased its price target on GE Vernova (GEV) to $418 from $413.

Jefferies believes that the company has multiple, positive catalysts, while its revenue and EBITDA margin for last quarter will likely come in above analysts’ average estimates.

Also importantly, Jefferies, which kept a Buy rating on the shares, contends that GEV will not be greatly affected by the Trump administration’s tariffs.

Multiple, Positive Catalysts

GEV will benefit from strong demand for its power and electrification products, along with its operational expenditures leverage, Jefferies reported. These drivers will help boost its margins, according to the investment bank.

Additionally, GEV has a large backlog of $119 billion, which should enable the firm to generate strong sales growth going forward, Jefferies believes.

Better-Than-Expected Q1 Results and Resilience to Tariffs

The investment bank predicts that GEV’s Q1 revenue will exceed analysts’ average estimate by 20%, while its EBITDA margin will be slightly above the mean outlook.

Finally, Jefferies estimates that less than 5% of the company’s operations will be impacted by tariffs.

The Recent Performance of GEV

In the last month, GEV has lost 2.5%, while the shares have sunk 16% in the last three months.
