Gene Munster: Apple Inc. (AAPL) Should Raise Dividend

Munster said he sees Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) coming out with a cheaper smartphone later this year, perhaps tying to a deal with China Mobile. “About 65 percent of smartphones are sold under $400, so Apple will need to make a move in that space.” When being asked about dividends, Munster said, “We would expect them to raise the dividend again. What they’ve said is they’d revisit that policy on a yearly basis, and they started it a year ago.”
