First Solar, Inc. (FSLR), SunPower Corporation (SPWR), And Jim Cramer’s Latest Thoughts

Co-Founder and Chairman of The Street, former hedge fund manager Jim Cramer is famous for his finance-focused TV program, Mad Money, which runs on CNBC. On the show, Cramer discusses some stocks and expresses his position towards them. In the program that ran yesterday night, Jim Cramer, analyzed several companies, come of which were: Sandstorm Gold Ltd. (NYSEMKT:SAND),
Agrium Inc. (USA) (NYSE:AGU), Potash Corp./Saskatchewan (USA) (NYSE:POT).

Bears

Cramer was bearish on Sandstorm Gold Ltd. (NYSEMKT:SAND), saying, “I’ve backed away from all gold stocks.” Sandstorm Gold Ltd. (NYSEMKT:SAND) closed 1.64% higher today at $8.07.

Another bear in Cramer’s view is Agrium Inc. (USA) (NYSE:AGU) which today lost 1.33% to $91.67. The host of Mad Money said in reference to Agrium Inc. (USA) (NYSE:AGU) that it is not his favorite.

Also, Jim Cramer was bearish on SunPower Corporation (NASDAQ:SPWR). SunPower Corporation (NASDAQ:SPWR) edged down 0.51% to $13.59 today.

The last bear on yesterday’s Mad Money was Life Technologies Corp. (NASDAQ:LIFE). “I think you have all the gain you’re going to get there,” Cramer said about Life Technologies Corp. (NASDAQ:LIFE), which closed 0.01% higher at $73.69.

Since we are done with the Bears, now it is time to take a look at the stocks Jim Cramer was bullish on.

Bulls

Potash Corp./Saskatchewan (USA) (NYSE:POT) was one of them. While speaking about Agrium Inc. (USA) (NYSE:AGU) and Potash, Cramer said “I like Potash more but I’m not jumping up and down over the ag group right now.” Potash added 1.03% to $42.10 today.

Cramer was bullish on First Solar, Inc. (NASDAQ:FSLR) as well. Shares of First Solar, Inc. (NASDAQ:FSLR) closed up today, after appreciating by 2.17% to $46.56. “The Chinese have pulled back on solar but First Solar did have a good quarter,” Mr. Cramer said.

The Mad Money host was also bullish on PPG Industries, Inc. (NYSE:PPG). The supplier of protective and decorative coatings inched up by 0.08% to $147.14 on Tuesday.

The last bull picked by Cramer yesterday was Eaton Corporation, PLC Ordinary Shares (NYSE:ETN). Eaton is engaged in the area of power management. On Tuesday, shares of Eaton closed 1.87% in green at $61.41.
