Corporate scandals, bankruptcies, and bailouts have been in the spotlight of both the media and the general public all throughout 2013. However, in the midst of all this negative press, we can still find examples of integrity and trustworthiness in the business world.
Following, we would like to present you with a list we have compiled of the top 20 most trustworthy companies in the US, based on the statistics issued by GMI ratings. GMI took a look at hundreds of corporations operating within the US and evaluated according to more than 60 indicators pertaining to transparency and integrity. Each of the companies received a score, the AGR score, which stands for accounting and governance risk. It then used the AGR to rank companies from least to most trustworthy, with 0 being the lowest and 100 the highest.
From GMI’s list, which divided companies into 4 main categories – large-cap, mid-cap, mini-cap, and micro-cap – we have selected the overall most trustworthy companies in the US.
