Interestingly, David Harding’s Winton Capital Management said goodbye to the biggest investment of the “upper crust” of funds watched by Insider Monkey, worth close to $0.3 million in stock, and Roger Ibbotson’s Zebra Capital Management was right behind this move, as the fund dumped about $0.1 million worth. These bearish behaviors are intriguing to say the least, as aggregate hedge fund interest dropped by 2 funds by the end of the first quarter.

As you can see these stocks had an average of 7.9 hedge funds with bullish positions and the average amount invested in these stocks was $13 million. That figure was $8 million in FRBA’s case. Castlight Health Inc (NYSE:CSLT) is the most popular stock in this table. On the other hand Eneti Inc. (NYSE:NETI) is the least popular one with only 2 bullish hedge fund positions. First Bank (NASDAQ:FRBA) is not the least popular stock in this group but hedge fund interest is still below average. Our overall hedge fund sentiment score for FRBA is 31.2. Stocks with higher number of hedge fund positions relative to other stocks as well as relative to their historical range receive a higher sentiment score.
