Ever wonder what the most expensive apps are? There is a big chance that you might be reading this story from an iPhone or iPad or even if you use a PC, you might have a device that runs on Apple’s iOS operation system somewhere near you. This can be assumed since Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) reported sales of over 37 million iPhones and almost 20 million iPads in the first three months of 2013.
Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) managed to conquer the world of mobile devices, but neither iPhones, nor iPads won’t be what they are without applications developed for the iOS operation system.

In March, Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) announced about 50 billion unique downloads from its App Store, which was opened in 2008. In this way, the rate of downloads comes to about 800 apps per second and 2 billion per month, the company said in a statement.
At first, the store contained about 500 applications, but as the popularity of iOS devices grew, so did the App Store, and now users can access more than 850,000 apps from 23 categories. There is a big variety of free and paid apps. The latter usually have accessible prices, but there are few applications whose prices can amount to the average annual income in some poor countries.
We have found seven applications for iOS devices that cost $999.99 each, which rounded up amounts to $1,000. Taking into account that the price for the most expensive iPad amounts to $930, paying almost $1,000 for an app looks a bit steep. Even though there are only seven, the number of ridiculously expensive apps might increase, and who knows, maybe in a couple of years, applications for mobile devices may become a part of the luxury industry.
However, it is important to point out that some of these very expensive applications look like they could be very useful for those working in a variety of industries.
Well, without any further ado, let’s take a look at the list of the most expensive Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) apps.

However, downloading and purchasing this app is not enough, one has to certify that he/she has income over one million GBP, which is why the developers branded it as a “Millionaire’s App.”
BarMax
BarMax could be very useful for those who study law and are getting ready for probably one of the most difficult exams – the Bar exam. The app represents a review course, which is supposed to help those who are getting ready to become lawyers in New York or California. After paying a lot of money for the law schools, maybe paying $1,000 for the chance of a higher score could be worth a try.
