Apple Inc. (AAPL) Tops Google Inc (GOOG) This Time, But What’s Around the Corner?

Second, related to the first, is the lack of a cheaper device (though that is supposedly in the works right now) to reach into the China market. It is estimated by research firm IDC that of the nearly 400 million smartphones expected to be sold in China next year, two-thirds of them will cost less than $200 – which means that without a cheaper device, Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) will price itself right out of a large chunk of the market in China.

And third is the recent news that the three largest wireless carriers in Russia have now all agreed to discontinue iPhone sales because the subsidies were making the devices  too expensive for them to sell. That could mean how many more millions of potential iPhone customers than won’t have access?
