2. Microphone Sensitivity and Accent Recognition
The Echo’s microphone is a bit more sensitive compared to the Google Home. It’s important to know when buying a speaker controlled by the sound of your voice because you never want to have to shout at the device in order for it to hear you. On the other hand, the Amazon Echo might not be able to understand your commands if you have a strong accent. It’s been found that the Google Home doesn’t have this same issue.
