Per Capita Aluminum Consumption: 42.76 kgs

South Korea’s recorded per capita aluminum consumption is 42.76 kgs, as of 2022. However, as South Korea isn’t among the top aluminum producing countries, its metal demand is supplemented by imports. The county’s aluminum imports accounted for $8.46 billion in 2021, with aluminum scrap being its main import.
