On November 26, tech news platform Tweak Town reported that AMD and Apple are set to be the first customers of chipmaker TSM as it begins the mass production of 2nm chips in 2025 at the new fab in Kaohsiung, six months ahead of schedule. The equipment installation ceremony at the new fabrication plant has already taken place, per the report. 2nm chips, when production begins, would be the most advanced AI-capable chips in the world.
