On March 14, Pearson plc (NYSE:PSO) announced a partnership with British Esports. The partners will launch a new suite of higher-tier BTEC qualifications in Esports. The new qualification will be the first of its kind globally. On February 13, the company reported earnings for the fiscal fourth quarter of 2023. The company reported an EPS of $0.83, beating estimates by $0.09. The company’s revenue for the quarter grew by 16.26% and amounted to $615.65 million, ahead of market consensus by $23.99 million. As of March 18, Bright Horizons Family Solutions Inc. (NYSE:BFAM) has surged nearly 32.66% over the past six months. Here are some comments from the company’s earnings call: 

“Performance for the full year results are strong, with Full Service revenue expanding nearly 20% and Back-Up Care revenue surpassing the $500 million mark, up an impressive 26% in 2023. These accomplishments were driven by the focus, dedication and execution of our talented teams who continue to work tirelessly to deliver our high-quality services. So to get into some of the specifics, in Q4, total revenue increased 16% to $616 million, which yielded adjusted EBITDA of $99 million and adjusted earnings per share of $0.83, an increase of 8% from the prior year.

For the full year 2023, revenue of $2.4 billion, representing growth of 20% with adjusted earnings per share of $2.84, expanding 9% over 2022. In our Full Service child care segment, revenue increased 15% in the fourth quarter to $447 million. The drivers of this growth were enrollment and pricing with centers that have been opened for more than 1 year expanding enrollment at a high single-digit rate in Q4 and averaging 58% to 60% occupancy. In the U.S., year-over-year enrollment increased 10% in these life centers with double-digit growth in our younger age groups and mid- to high single-digit growth in preschool age groups in Q4. Outside the U.S., enrollment increased at a mid-single-digit rate in the fourth quarter compared to Q4 of 2022.”

QS rankings include the top 1500 universities globally, based on scores assigned across various factors including academic reputation, citations per faculty, and employment outcomes. However, for our list, we have used the academic reputation scores as our primary metric. The overall QS score has been used as a tie-breaker for the universities with the same academic reputation score. Both the scores have been marked out of 100. The list has been arranged in ascending order of the academic reputation scores.
